根據維基百科
In reality, actress Helen Baxendale became pregnant between seasons 4 and 5;
as a result she was unable to travel to the US to do any filming for season
5. As a result her only appearances were heavily swaddled in bed clothes, and
she had to be written out of the series a lot earlier than was intended.
就是Helen Baxendale在第四與第五季間懷孕了
沒辦法到美國拍戲，編劇只好讓Emily提前與Ross分手，
唯一的鏡頭就是在床上講電話，用衣服遮住肚子。
Helen Baxendale兩年前還在生孩子，她一共生了三個。
當初加上英國演員與劇情似乎是為了英國的收視起見。
