Q & A Q1. Can you let us know what's considering as the most beautiful lifestyle should be in your mind? What do you think Simple Life festival should look like and any expectations for playing at Simple Life Festival 2010? ________________________________________________________________________ DAVE: Simplicity is the key, living your life in a way that doesn't interfere with how other people want to live their life and minding the gap. I have no expectations, I have played in Festivals all over the world and I'm completely open minded. I'm looking forward to whatever might be different at the Simple Life Festival. Q2. For this year' s performance on the main stage, will you perform something different than your usual set? What' s first impression or surprise you wish to make to the Taiwanese audience this time, since this is your very first visit to the country. ________________________________________________________________________ DAVE: My usual set is with the 4 piece band. So every song will be a solo acoustic interpretation. Intimate and terrifying (for me). The nuiances of the lyrics will be exposed in a way that will challenge the audiences interpretation of the English language Q3. "Do the thing you like to do and make the thing you like more worthwhile". This is the main theme of the festival this year. Can you share with us, if there is some similar experience that you may have in your life before may match that? ________________________________________________________________________ DAVE: I think this message is inherent in my music. I'm at home in this element and in the world of music culture we are always encouraged to express ourselves effectively. Q5. What's your impression about Taiwan, since this will be your first visit? Are there any particular places that you're looking forward to and wish to go to sightseeing, besides the performance? ________________________________________________________________________ DAVE: I travel alot and I've always wanted to go to Taiwan. What I'm expecting is to experience first hand what I've only seen in pictures.
