圖文網誌版 http://0rz.tw/LYK2b 經過漫長的等待，身兼音樂人、唱片製作、DJ、選曲家及作家的音樂教父橋本徹 (Suburbia)已發行他第五張的音樂選輯『VA - Mellow Beats: Friends & Lovers』。收錄包括新錄Nujabes和Giovanca以及荷蘭獨立爵士廠牌Dox Records下的創作音樂人兼製作人Benny Sings的合唱曲「Kiss of Life」 (A cover of SADE's "Kiss Of Life")，這首歌在我介紹的Olivia Ong也有翻唱過，另外還收錄Nujabes新曲「Child's Attraction」以及Ino Iidefumi, CALM, Rei Harakami, Dj Mitsu The Beats等Club、Jazz曲風。Thx Kobana。橋本徹對於音樂文化與生活型態的經營在日本一直有著崇高地位，他不僅僅是Tower Records的音樂雜誌Bounce的前主編，他在澀谷所開設的新型態音樂餐廳Cafe Apres-midi 的名氣可說是無人不曉，另外還有監製以女性聽眾為走向的選曲集Free Soul系列，以及以Apres-midi之名義所發行的Cafe Apres Midi爵士音樂選輯也是爵士樂迷必蒐的專輯之一。其實橋本徹在07年就開始發行了第一張選輯，以摩登、時尚、輕鬆的蜜月生活為選曲主題陸續發行了四張選輯，可說是突破廠牌限制的優質合輯，裡面由於實在太多好物，就不一一做介紹，只做一個選輯總整理。最後一張『VA - Mellow Beats, Souls & Melodies』是我們的好朋友Mars所自行製作的Mixtape，也是Jazzy Hip Hop的選輯。 VA - Mellow Beats: Friends & Lovers [2009] 01.
