拍手這個問題我有時候也搞不懂
不過剛好最近讀到一篇關於Emanuel Ax的訪談文章

其中有他對拍不拍手的看法 引用一下讓大家參考
事情是起始於他上一季跟紐約愛樂合作Beethoven鋼琴協奏曲"皇帝"
表演的時候 第一樂章結束時都安安靜靜的 只有咳嗽聲
他在訪談中表示他的失望
"applause should be welcomed whenever it comes"
掌聲應該被歡迎
"Certainly when a composer like Beethoven wrote the symphonies and piano
concertos that we hear today in the concert hall, he expected that if a
movement ended with a flourish, such as the 1st movement of the Fifth Piano
Concerto, the audience would leap to its collective feet and let the composer
(and pianist) know that they had triumphed"
就是他覺得當作曲家在寫一個交響樂或協奏曲的時候 作曲家會期待當一個樂章在高潮中
結束時 觀眾會一起跳起來給予熱烈的掌聲 讓作曲家(及鋼琴手)知道他們幹的不錯
Manny Ax在詮釋時特別注重作曲家的原意
至於這裡他是不是真的知道作曲家希不希望拍手的心意 那就不的而知了...
