CNN上面查到的
Under the Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA), 12.4 percent of your
earned income up to an annual limit must be paid into Social Security, and an
additional 2.9 percent must be paid into Medicare.
總而言之就是政府強制從你的薪水中撥出一部份
投入社會福利還有醫療保險等等的費用支出~
