Jiminy Billy Bob那段應該是Monica跟Erica套招捉弄Chendler, 因為Chendler受驚嚇的反應會很好笑. 我不知道Jiminy Billy Bob是什麼意思,只知道聽起來很funny會被取笑. 我自己是覺得如果這是台灣版,也許可以像這樣: Erica:如果我生的是男孩,可不可以為寶寶取我爸的名字--大雕? 大雕可以換成任何會引起爆笑諧音or聯想的名字其實除了那種很明顯的,比方說名字叫Dick之類的以外, 我一直搞不懂英文名字的笑點在哪裡. 像我有個鋼琴學生的姓是Kisserberth, 他跟我抱怨說他的姓常常被同學取笑, 大家會叫他Kiss bird. 老實說他不解釋我還完全反應不過來, 就算解釋了我也不覺得有很好笑....大概是因為我的英文語感不夠好吧..... 不過下面這個跟諧音有關的笑話我倒可以擠出一個微笑: Q: What kind of cheese is not yours? A: Nacho cheese 之後確認生父的那一段, 應該是說Monica有問Erica究竟分別跟兩個男友都作了些什麼親密行為, 然後Erica性知識不足(上性教育課沒有專心),以為她跟兩個男生作的事情都會懷孕, 實際上跟Shovely Joe作的事情是不會懷孕的, 從Monica敘述的口吻來看, 感覺起來Erica應該是跟Shovely Joe玩性遊戲,而且應該是很火辣搞怪的那種.... Chendler放心之後就想搞清楚Erica是跟男友作了哪些事, 基本上Monica平常不太喜歡太搞怪的性遊戲, 所以他們有很多no-no, 也就是Chendler不曾獲得Monica同意嘗試的花招(最經典的應該是在陽台嘿咻) 所以Chendler才會以有點欽佩的口吻說Shovely Joe, 意思是"好樣的,有本事讓馬子願意跟你玩搞怪性遊戲" : 4. : 好像是舊問題了 : on(off) the table 比較好的翻譯是？ off the table就是撤掉的菜(或話題),永遠沒有再被提起的可能. 我看到有人翻成"免談",好像還說得過去.... 或者說"蓋棺論定"? 所以可以是這樣: Rachel:我只是想讓你知道,我們之間,永遠沒有免談一說.
